Warangal: After a successful counter-offensive operation by the Indian army, a wave of patriotic enthusiasm has swept across various parts of society, especially in the old Karimnagar and Warangal areas.
The Army's rapid and precise revenge has gained extensive public support and has sparked celebration scenes from towns and social media platforms. From the past service to civilians, people responded to the odes of “Bharat Mata ki Jai”, “Jai Hind” and “Jai Bharat Sena” on the streets and on online forums and united with the armed forces. The social media schedule is filled with patriotic messages and expressions of pride.
Former military soldier S. Hanumantha Rao said the simulation exercises conducted in major Indian cities are part of a broader preparation measure. “The state and central government are on alert. These exercises ensure preparation and awareness. Intelligence agencies coordinate closely with the government when needed and issue outages or emergency consultations when needed to ensure civilian protection.”
He added that the success of the military not only boosted the morale of the armed forces, but also boosted the morale of citizens across the country. “That’s why people celebrate, it’s not only military success, but national pride,” he said.
In Husnabad constituency, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar led the patriotic program to commemorate the achievements of the army. The minister called on the whole party to unite, praised the center's bold action and urged citizens to stand behind the armed forces.
In Karimnagar, former mayor Sardar Ravinder Singh donated Rs 13,013 to the soldiers’ welfare and made more donations nationwide. “Every citizen plays a role in supporting our Javanese, not just emotionally, but financially,” he said.
Meanwhile, Professor Surepally Sujatha of Satavahana University broke out in a social media post, questioning the symbolic meaning of the word “sindoor” in the context of war. Her speech triggered an online rebound, with many netizens accusing her of disrespecting the armed forces.
Despite the criticism of isolation, public sentiment overwhelmingly supported the military's actions. Citizens in the region call for continued national solidarity and strong support for counter-terrorism operations.
