Sarvepalli MLA says

Sarvepalli MLA and former minister Somieddy Chandramohan Reddy distributed agricultural equipment to farmers in a program at Thotapalli Gudur Mandal in the SPSR Nellore district on Sunday.

Sarvepalli MLA and former minister Somieddy Chandramohan Reddy said the government is taking all measures to restore glory to the agricultural sector, which has suffered “Misrule” over the past five years.

He spoke on Sunday in a plan organized by the Varigonda village of Thotapalli Gudur Mandal in the Nelore region, when he noted that the TDP-led coalition government has restarted the plan to allocate subsidized farm equipment to farmers.

He said breathing fires on the last YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) regime, saying the Ministry of Agriculture suffered serious setbacks and farmers had to bear severe financial pressure as they put on hold of several meaningful plans.

Mr Chandramohan Reddy said: “The current government is taking every step to breathe life into such a plan to benefit farmers, which is a step that is crucial to revitalizing the lost glory of the agricultural sector.”

Interestingly, he led the agricultural portfolio during his predecessor to the Telugu Party (TDP) between 2014-2019.

“The government provides farmers with drones worth Rs 1 million to subsidize Rs 2 million. This is a historic decision,” he said. Legislators called on farmers to visit the rural secretariat to examine their status on the list of beneficiaries of the “Annadata Sukhibhava” scheme.
