To maintain high alert and strengthen public confidence, new tensions emerged along the northern border on Saturday (May 10) night (hours after the two countries announced a ceasefire), which intensified patrol efforts.
Both commissioners demarcated extensive foot and mobile patrols in key urban and industrial areas. The move comes from reports of attacks and ambushings in parts of Jamu and Kashmir, with intermittent power outages still affecting certain northern states as of Saturday night.
Hyderabad Police Chief CV Anand confirmed that in the coming days, visible policing will continue throughout the city. “We focus on reassuring citizens through a positive ground presence, especially during this period of increased alertness,” he said.
Cyberabad is home to the city’s main IT corridor and several prominent agencies, and patrols have also increased over the past two days.
Commissioner Avinash Mohanty pointed out that patrol and public participation drivers will continue to exist. “Despite an understanding, the evolving situation elsewhere in the country requires us to remain vigilant. Our team is engaging directly and almost with the community to share verified information and ensure peace of mind,” he said.
Given the widespreadness of Commissioner Cyberabad, a combination of pedestrian patrol, vehicle surveillance and digital outreach is being adopted. IT corridors employing more than one million professionals through video and telephone communications are being involved in collaboration with the Cyberabad Security Servicy Anmilly Council (SCSC) and other forums through video and telephone communications.
In addition to the technology hub, in densely populated residential areas such as Kukatpally, KPHB, Balanagar and Miyapur, as well as industrial belts such as Suraram and Jeedimetla. Awareness program for public safety was conducted along with routine checks.
Officials of both commissioners believed that these ongoing efforts would help maintain stability and prevent the spread of misleading or panic, especially in northern India’s developments remain in good shape.
Meanwhile, as the country’s security warnings increase, both Hyderabad police banned the flight of remotely controlled drones, para-gliders and glitter aircraft within the city limits and immediately produced an effect.
As another measure, Hyderabad City Police also prohibits the explosion of firecrackers or fireworks in public places, especially in the military Guangzhou area for the benefit of public safety.
