Devote crowd sees Swarna Rathotsavam of the goddess Padmavati of Tiruchanur

On Monday, several devotees attended the Swarna Rathotsavam (Golden Chariot Festival) at the Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur, Tirupati District.

According to the Temple Pastor, the sunlight in summer caused serious distress, pain and worship of the goddess Padmavati during Vasanthotsavam, expelling the physical and mental heat of the devotees.

The priest said that on the second day of Vasanthotsavam, devotees who saw the idol of the goddess on the golden chariot would fulfill their wishes and would not be born again.

As part of the celebration, the goddess was awakened by Suprabhatham and Sahasranamarachana. Later, she was taken to Swarnaratham Mandapam to participate in a procession of gold medals on four Mada streets in the temple at 9.45 am

From 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm, the Snapana Thirumanjanam celebrations are held in the Friday Garden, and Abhishekam performs with turmeric, Kumkum, milk, milk, curd, honey, honey, sandalwood powder and coconut water.

From 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm, the goddess crossed the Four Streets of the Temple in another parade. TTD Temple Pastor Babu Swamy, Vice Chairman of Eo Govinda Rajan, Principal, Temple Inspector and a large number of devotees attended the meeting.
