Six persons were registered under Article 125(a) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (and any harm caused by any human life or personal safety of others) and 125(b) (and any serious harm caused by any human life or personal safety of others).
The defendants were identified as Shemeer KM, Shemmer MP, Vishnu Pr Ameer KM, Muhammed Sha KP and Asharaf CP, who were appointed as office contenders for the football club that organizes the game.
Among the injured, two were admitted to the Mar Baselios Medical Missionary Hospital in Kohangaram. Although one person has a fracture, the other eventually has a fractured leg. Hospital sources said five were referred to multiple other hospitals.
The accident happened in the football championship final. According to FIR, temporary galleries without safety and safety precautions have more onlookers than carrying capacity, causing them to collapse.
According to witnesses, the audience moved to the side of the gallery to look for cover for the shower, which undermined the balance and led to a collapse.
Sources said the club has been organizing football games for nearly two decades and has engaged in charitable activities.
