DHS eviction email: Time to leave the U.S.: U.S. doctors are shocked after receiving deportation from DHS

Dr. Anderson received a notice from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) last Friday that it read that it was time to get her out of the United States. The Pennsylvania-born doctor said the information was disturbing.
Doctors told NBC that the language seemed to threaten people who actually apply.
Part of the information US CBP is a broader driving force for self-extension
According to the report, the information appears to be part of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) campaign, encouraging non-citizens to deceive themselves. However, the actual deportation figures are similar to last year.
The campaign is reportedly targeting individuals who use the CBP ONE mobile app to enter the country.
But Anderson is a natural American citizen and has nothing to do with immigration enforcement. According to the NBC report, she has never been involved in immigration cases and has never been involved in documents that may raise flags with federal authorities. Dr. Anderson told the media that she had no idea how she ended up in the department’s radar.
Ministry of Land and Resources says emails may be wrong
Senior DHS officials admitted in an interview with NBC and HuffPost that the email could be wrong. They say CBP uses known people’s email addresses to send notifications. The official added that if a person gives contact to U.S. citizens, the unexpected recipient may receive notification.
Officials added that the CBP is monitoring communications and they will resolve any issues on a case-by-case basis.
Meanwhile, Dr. Anderson said she always put her American passport on her. She further said she was seeking help from an immigration attorney to clarify her legal status, even if she didn’t have to.
According to the report, she said it worried that there are more people like her who think emails are spam and don’t realize they might have problems.
Boston lawyers receive similar emails
Dr. Anderson is not the first to receive an email from the Department of Homeland Security. Earlier this week, Nicole Micheroni, an immigration lawyer in Massachusetts and a U.S.-born citizen, received a similar email.
On April 11, Nicole received a letter from an immigration official from the Trump administration directing her to leave the country or “the federal government will find you.”
According to a report from The Guardian, Micheroni initially thought the email was for her client, but soon realized that her name was mentioned in the email. She said she hoped it was wrong, adding that U.S. citizens are receiving such information.
