Telangana’s Department of Intermediate Education launched “Serve” on Wednesday (April 9, 2025), a special initiative aimed at improving the quality of education in all government primary and vocational colleges through an online platform.
The program was organized by partner organizations at EK Step Foundation, and the first session was provided by Vara Prasad, a coordinator of the Gopal Subramaniyam project and a communication skills teacher, which included students from two government colleges in the city. Mr. Vara Prasad provides students with insights on effective communication and interview skills.
According to Krishna Aditya, director of intermediate education, the phased digital education rollout will address key challenges such as university teacher shortages, skills gaps and dropout rates. To ensure a limited university education, a shared digital platform will broadcast courses. According to the news, this will enable students to benefit from high-quality learning resources.
During the pilot phase, the program will be implemented in Nampally, Chanchalguda and Government Vocational Junior High School.
Additionally, all universities are instructed to carry out a comprehensive 21-day development program with a focus on attendance, attention, respect, innovation, discipline and dedication to improve student success rates.
