Hydraa chief responsible officer on illegal structures

AV Ranganath, a commissioner of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency, severely condemned the authorities of a hospital on Friday to exceed permitted restrictions on illegally upgraded floors.
In response to complaints from local residents, Mr. Ranganath conducted a live inspection of Shankar Hospital in RTC Crossroads and found that the hospital had to lift the basement and six floors under GHMC's permission.
He also noticed that the building was only 10 feet on one side and 15 feet on the other. The owner obtained permission to have a road width of 25 feet, which GHMC authorities did not inspect. The fire department did not clean up either, but the builder submitted a third-party audit report. In addition, there are deviations in all aspects, to 10 feet, occupying the road.
Mr. Ranganath also found fault with the medical and health authorities as they issued permits to the hospital without any GHMC's admission certificate and took measures. He mentioned the latest order from the Supreme Court and said that the building's electrical and water connections should not be given without the certificate of occupation.
Hydraa's statement he sought reports on all details of the chief planner of the Secunderabad Region, GHMC's chief planner.
