The body of a woman was found inside a stormwater drain in the new terminal of Patna Airport, officials said Sunday. They said the woman’s identity has not been identified for 35 to 40 years.
SDPO-1 (Sachiwalay) Anu Kumari said on Saturday at 7.10 PM Anu Kumari was told. “Officers from the airport police station arrived immediately and after cutting the pipes, the woman’s body was recovered,” she said.
An official from the airport police department said the body was found while inspecting the drainage system. “A case has been registered and the body has been sent for post-verification inspection. The case is being investigated from various angles. Efforts are being made to determine the identity of the deceased,” he added. “Those who work on the site are being questioned. In addition, statements about the contractor have been recorded.”
