DMK’s ponmudy tore his controversial comments apart at the party post.

DMK deleted Deputy Secretary-General K. Ponmudy’s Deputy Secretary-General K. Ponmudy in a video clip on Friday (April 10, 2025).

DMK President and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Friday (11 April 2025) that Mr Ponmudy has removed the post of Deputy Secretary-General of the Party.

Hours ago, DMK Deputy Secretary-General and MP Kanimozhi condemned some controversial remarks made by her senior party leader and minister K. Ponmudy in the public forum.

“Minister Pommodi’s recent speech is reprehensible regardless of the reason for the speech,” Ms. Kanimozhi said in a social media post.

On social media on Thursday, video clips of Mr. Ponmudy’s speech became popular with controversial comments. Whether BJP senior staff member T. Narayanan wants Mr. Ponmudy to continue serving as the Council of Ministers, asked Mr. Stalin a question.
