Virat Kohli finally bid for Adieu Test cricket on Monday. He has been an inspiration for countless young cricketers throughout his 14-year career and has also shaped Indian cricket. Several legendary cricketers, including Sachin Tendulkar, have congratulated Kohli since he announced his retirement from the game’s Red Ball format. Not only the former cricketer, but Serbian tennis legend Novak Djokovic sent a special two-word message to Virat Kohli on his Instagram handle.

Virat Kohli scored 9,230 times in his 123-game career, averaging 46.85. He also received 30 and 31 and a half centuries of attacks, while he was the most unbeaten in 2019 innings against South Africa.
He made his debut in 2011 Test against the West Indies, and his last match was against Australia earlier this January 3.
Kohli’s old video aims to touch 10,000 test runs
Shortly after Kohli announced his retirement from Test cricket, an old video immediately spread on social media, in which the star batsman was heard mentioning that when asked about the growing popularity of the T20I, his main goal was to achieve 10,000 runs in the test.
“ My goal, however, is to score 10,000 in Test cricket. Being a successful Test cricketer has always been my goal,” Coley said in the old clip.
