Doge Associate, a history of misogyny, violent outbreaks gains key position in the State Council
The department confirmed Monday that the development comes a day after Trump administration officials were architects who demolished the U.S. International Development Agency. The State Department said Pete Marocco, who served as director of the Office of Foreign Aid, oversees the agency’s severe cuts and layoffs, known as the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

Jeremy Lewin becomes acting director of foreign aid
Senior U.S. officials have confirmed that Jeremy Lewin, formerly the government’s efficiency department, has been appointed to the new position. Lewin’s earlier mission was to assist the dissolution of the US International Development Agency. The official has no right to discuss personnel publicly, and he spoke on anonymity.
The move comes as President Donald Trump’s administration attempts to significantly expand the $52 billion allocated in 2024 to use humanitarian, health and development programs managed by the State Department and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). Lewin’s appointment marks one of the most prominent formal roles of the federal government in Musk’s team, which worked with the Republican government to implement substantial cuts on public programs and services.

The appointment of the U.S. president’s large sergeant came after the departure of Peter Marocco, a man appointed by Trump, who previously led the administration’s foreign aid efforts. State Department officials attribute Marocco to Marocco’s key role in reducing U.S. International Development’s staff, programs and funding. During his tenure, Marloco reportedly encountered tensions with Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other officials in the administration and Congress. According to the Rolling Stones, Jeremy Lewin has been accused of having a history of outbreaks of disgust, racism and violence. Among them, a girl complained to police that Lewin had threatened her with a knife and that he had beaten a classmate in the cafeteria of an elite private school where he went to and had a history of racist remarks.
Pete Marocco has served as a director of the Office of Foreign Aid since January and planned the U.S. International Development Agency’s closure of U.S. International Development Agency during its brief long term as its deputy executive.

“Pete was brought to a massive mission to conduct a thorough review of every dollar spent on foreign aid,” a senior official told the Wall Street Journal.
“He performed this historic mission and exposed taxpayer abuse. We all hope that Pitt has provided something important to Pitt in the next mission. He is no longer in the state.”
Marocco only learned at a White House meeting late last week that his role was about to end. . “I will go back to my post as Director of Foreign Aid to bring value back to the American people,” Marocco said in an internal email after returning to the State Department less than a month ago. ”
Pete clashes with Marco Rubio
He allegedly clashed with Secretary of State Marco Rubio, with the cuts being 83% of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) funding canceled since President Trump’s inauguration.

Marocco reportedly pushed for deeper and far-reaching cuts in a 90-day review of U.S. aid programs, while Rubio advocates saving more life-saving plans, according to officials.
Marocco is a senior U.S. Marine Corps, holding various positions at President Trump at the State Department and the U.S. Agency for International Development, as well as the Pentagon and the Department of Commerce.
According to CBS News, Marocco is no stranger to jumping to position in the Trump administration. During President Trump’s first term, Mallock served in the Department of Commerce, the Pentagon, the State Department and the United States Agency for International Development.
After Trump lost his 2020 presidential election, Marloko was a supporter of the false claims Mr. Trump won. During the four years Mr. Trump took office, Marocco left the administration to live and work in Texas, where U.S. Marine Corps veterans run a consulting firm.
