Cabbage and King | “Wokery”, diversity faces attacks; Bud’s Stratford is “decolonizing”

“She killed Hyperion

And go to the goat

– Hey! It has nothing to do with you –

Just a quote

From a very famous drama

About Love’s Antidote

If memory appears

Will it bring lumps to your throat? ”

From the wilderness of desire, bachchoo

There is no earthquake yet, but the rumbling sound is like the truth spinning in the grave? I have read now three unconfirmed arguments that Kamala Harris’s non-election U.S. presidency is, as Donald Trump puts it, “stolen”: “The “fixed” voting machine in a swing country, canceling millions of votes, canceling millions of votes to illegal discount forecasts, but these established hits can be put forward in a timely manner, but these things are to be identified, and that is determined, and that is the right thing. Harris should be in the White House now.

Delusion? perhaps! Still a mystery, is this why most American voters vote for fraudsters? His first highly-watched gesture was that Elon Musk attacked the ideas and policies of “diversity,” “equality,” and “inclusiveness.” They declared hatred of “DEI” in government and civil institutions. Donald Trump even attributed the plane crash on Washington to Dei, which means people employed through Dei are employed in air traffic control. This is not much distance from explicit racist or misogynistic statements.

Is this an attack on Mr. Trump’s ace card? This is an attack on Wokery. It is certain that the Pope is a Catholic, and every magazine voter is disgusted with fanatics and believes that the suppression or integrity or even violent erasure of it will restore America to greatness.

These people are inherently opposed to any principles and policies that originate from the insults towards equality, equity and the elimination of race, gender and class. Of course, in my humble opinion, some “swinging” is just ridiculous, ridiculous, and even a waste of time and energy – for example, mandatory choice in some institutions that “your preferred pronouns” are mandatory. (I often answer the demands, saying that I want to be called “IT” – I insist on being objective!).

And, gentle readers, some swaying people, if indeed seen as part of the following prejudice, it is annoying when writer JK Rowling is subjected to death threats, because she says she doesn’t believe that individuals can change from the gender they were born with. She never said that trans people have no right to speak and think like they do, and that other opinions she and others have been fired for claiming these opinions are not supported by the vicious victims.

That being said, a little swaying – what does one say? – On the top? Recently, Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust, owned in several historic buildings related to the life of the bard, announced that they set out to “release” the trust through the initiative of Professor Helen Hopkins of the University of Birmingham.

This is the kind of statement that can be classified as Wokery. This is harmless. I think this means they intend not to observe Shakespeare’s inheritance through a “Western perspective”.

I don’t know that this universal genius has any role in colonialism. He lived and died before the birth of the East India Company and before the colonial spread. He was alive in 1607, when Britain first settled in the United States, but through my acquaintance of his work, I could not see any apology or support for the conquest of the “colonial”. Shakespeare’s “Western attitude” is not surprising. He was not born and raised in Hong Kong!

So what did Professor Hopkins and the trust and inheritance of the playwright and the legacy of his playwright, respecting human emotions and motivations, comics and miserables?

A: They sponsored an event to celebrate the work of our own Bengali poet Rabindranath Tagore. Great! In my opinion, this doesn’t make any sense in Stratford. If it happens in brick lanes in Birmingham or London, it would be equally popular, although it cannot be said to be “decolonized” these locations.

Professor Hopkins and the Trust have launched a Bollywood-themed dance class in an effort toward this goal. It sounds interesting to the locals, but how it helps to “decolonize” Shakespeare’s legacy remains a mystery.

However, following this effort by the Birthplace Trust and Professor Hopkins, the right-wing media wrote in a characteristic crying baby fashion that condemned the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Professor Hopkins’ policy. Audience is a weekly right-wing magazine edited by former minister Michael Gove, leading the thrust in an article by columnist Douglas Murray. Mr. Murray has been working hard to discover all aspects of Warkri.

Wokery does nothing to do with anything except the totally unacceptable threat to JK Rowling’s life and the firing of fully capable and excellent academics by trans supporters. It attempts to ban words like “painting” and “ransomware.” event!

Of course, attacking it would win votes for the royal family and the musketeers, but Mr. Murray’s writings are like my companions who say on the neck of Hyde Park that “the end of the world is close at hand.” Well…relax!
