Donald Trump rejected James Comey’s explanation on the “8647” post, saying “a kid knows what it means”

U.S. President Donald Trump criticized former FBI Director James Comey on a now-deleted Instagram post on the number “8647” listed in Bayhails, and rejected his explanation, saying: “He knows exactly what it means. A child knows what it means.”

In an interview aired Friday, Trump told Fox News’ “special report with Bret Baier” that he would not buy Comey’s explanation, according to ABC News.

“He knows exactly what it means. A kid knows what it means. If you’re a director of the FBI and you don’t know what it means, it means assassination. Well, he apologizes because he’s been hit and he’s a really bad guy,” ABC News said.
Comey shared an image of the number “8647” with shells on it and with the title “Cool shells formed on my beach trail.”

This number has attracted attention because the “86” is often used as a lang language to get rid of something or pop up someone, especially in restaurant and bar settings when referring to menu items. The number “47” is believed to be Trump, the 47th president of the United States.

Trump administration officials confirmed with President Trump’s eldest son, Donald Trump Jr. Patel, confirmed that the FBI will fully support the Secret Service’s investigation into alleged posts against President Trump. Patel posted an article on X, “We realize that we are aware of the recent social media post by former FBI director James Comey, targeting President Trump. We communicated with the Secret Service and Director Curran. Related to the curran jurisdiction. The main jurisdiction.

U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem condemned Comey for accusing him of inciting violence against President Trump. Norm said the Department of Homeland Security and the Secret Service will take appropriate action.

“The lost former FBI director James Comey just called for the assassination of @potustrump. The DHS and Secret Service are investigating the threat and will respond appropriately,” Norm said in an article on X.

Donald Trump Jr. also criticized Comey, accusing him of calling for the assassination of his father, President Trump.

“Only James Comey casually calls on my father to be murdered. That’s the one Dem-Media admires. Obsessed.”

Comey responded to his strong opposition to his post. Comey said in a statement posted on Instagram that he shared a photo of shells arranged in numbers, assuming it was a political message and was unaware that the numbers could be related to violence.

“I used to see some pictures of shells I saw on the beach walk today, and I think it’s a political message. I didn’t realize that some people associate these numbers with violence. I’ve never happened, but I’m against any kind of violence, so I fell the post,” a statement on the New York Post Instagram said.

On September 4, 2013, James Comey was sworn in as the seventh director of the FBI. He oversaw the key investigation of Russia’s email controversy in the 2016 U.S. presidential election and Hillary Clinton’s email dispute after Trump fired in May 2017 and soon after Trump began his first administration.

He served for more than three years. Republicans and Democrats have severely criticized the former FBI director’s investigation into Trump and Clinton and how he handles everyone in the public sphere. According to CNN.
