Donald Trump says Iran is ‘close to nuclear deal’ | World News

U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States is about to reach a nuclear deal with Iran on the grounds that it is “very serious negotiation” about long-term peace.
Trump made a remark in Qatar during the second leg of Thursday’s Gulf Tour before heading to the United Arab Emirates, noting that Tehran has “slightly” agreed to the clause.
“We are in serious negotiations for a long-term peaceful manner with Iran,” Trump said.
“We are not making any nuclear dust in Iran,” he said. “I think we might be close to reaching a deal without doing that.”
Trump said his optimism is based on Iran’s new statement. “You may read stories about Iran today. That kind of agrees with these terms,” he said.
According to Al Jazeera, Trump did not specify what he was referring to, but rather Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Ali Shamkhani’s adviser, said in an interview with the U.S. media this week that Tehran is willing to accept the far-reaching restrictions in its nuclear program.
“I want them [Iran] To be successful, I hope they end up being a great country,” Trump added Thursday, but they can’t have nuclear weapons. That’s the only thing, it’s simple.”
The United States and Iran have stepped up negotiations and recently held a fourth round in Oman. In the fourth round of negotiations, a new proposal has been submitted, with both sides leaning towards a diplomatic solution. However, there are still significant differences by Al Jazeera.
Trump and Iranian leaders made significant statements. Trump’s description of Iran as the “most destructive force” in the Middle East prompted a strong response from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Pezeshkian accused the United States of fueling regional instability and claimed that Trump’s goal is to create unrest within Iran.
“Trump thinks he can sanction and threaten us and then talk about human rights. All crimes and regional instability are caused by them [the United States],” he said. “He wants to create instability within Iran. ”
Meanwhile, Qatar plays a key intermediary role between the United States and Iran. Trump praised Qatar’s Emir Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani for saying Iran should thank him for advocating military action.
Trump said in Doha that Iran should express “very thanks” to Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who urged U.S. leaders to avoid military action. “Iran is lucky to have Emir because he is actually fighting for them. He doesn’t want us to do a vicious blow to Iran,” Trump said.
Trump’s trip to the three countries in the Gulf Country region will end on Thursday (local time) in the United Arab Emirates.
