Hyderabad: Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Vijay Kumar said Friday that some private individuals have been notified to call on the phone in the name of ACB officials and threatened civil servants to ask money not to register the case with them.
He told the people that ACB officials never call civil servants and ask for money not to register a case against them. Government employees should not believe such calls and should not pay fake callers.
If you receive any such fake calls from civil servants or ordinary people in the name of ACB officials, please contact ACB’s free call immediately -1064 and notify the local police station. He added that the names and details of the victim or complainant will be kept confidential.
