Singh’s reference to language unity appears to be directed at the dispute between the Tamil Nadu government and the center’s Ministry of Education regarding the three-language formula in the new education policy, which the state’s DMK government believes is a way to impose Hindi on non-Indian language countries.
He expressed concern about the attention of the Tamil Nadu government, prioritizing opponents against Hindi over providing education for key areas such as medicine and engineering in Tamil, and stressed that the BJP worked with the “positive agenda” to benefit all.
He added: “Hindi and all Indian languages strengthen each other. The state should not be divided in the name of language. The Hindi spokesperson is not an opponent of Tamil; instead, we believe we have strengthened all Indian languages together.” He further emphasized that linguistic diversity in India is the source of strength and unity, not discord. He added that the BJP is “still committed to respecting and upholding all Indian languages, including Tamil and Hindi”.
Kashi Tamil Sangamam, who celebrates the linguistic and cultural diversity of India, stressed the Modi government’s move, saying that promoting one language should never mean destroying another.

He pays homage to what he calls the “fareless spirit of the Indian female warriors” (including Rani Velu Nachiyar), the first Indian queen to engage in an armed struggle against British colonial rule. He praised her as a symbol of courage, wisdom and patriotism. He described her leadership, saying that she was not only a brave and popular ruler, but also showed “real leadership.”
“Real leadership lies in power, but in the willingness to oppression and injustice.” He also acknowledged the significant contributions of other brave Queens, Rani Lakshmibai, Rani Durgavati and Rani Chennamma, who played an important role in Indian history.
