Former Minister and YSR Congress leader Jogi Ramesh appeared in the Crime Investigation Department (CID) in Vijayawada on Friday.
Mr Ramesh responded to the notice provided to him and investigated a case before CID officials.
The case is linked to an attack on former opposition leader and is now the residence of Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2021.
A group of YSRCP leaders reportedly held a protest in front of Mr Naidu’s house on October 19, 2021.
Tadepalli police registered a case and were later transferred to the CID.
Ramesh later said in the media that the TDP government tried to threaten YSRCP leaders through false litigation cases.
“I went to Mr. Naidu’s home in 2021 and held a protest. TDP activists damaged my vehicle and then filed a lawsuit against me.”
