Drone bomb aid ship heading to Gaza; NGOs blame Israel

Turkiye's foreign ministry said its citizens were joining at the time of the incident and were working with the Malta authorities to transfer it to a safe location.
“We condemn the attack on a civilian ship with the strongest strength and noted that “there are some accusations that the ship was a target of the Israeli drone”. It said, “All necessary efforts will be made to reveal the details of the attack as soon as possible and bring the perpetrators to justice.” ”
Greta is set to board the boat
Swedish activist Greta Thunberg told Reuters she was in Malta and was supposed to board the ship as an action planned by Free Flotilla to support Gaza, which was blocked and bombed by Israel.
The NGO published video footage, shot in the dark, showing the fire on the conscience of one of its ships. The camera shows lights in the sky in front of the ship and you can hear the explosion. The Malta government said: “The Israeli ambassador must be summoned and answered violations of international law, including the ongoing blockade (Gaza) and the bombing of our civilian ships in international waters.” The fire operation was launched on the scene and a Malta patrol ship was dispatched. It said a few hours later, the vessel and its crew ensured it, adding that the crew refused to board the tug.
Reduced aid supply
According to UN aid officials, battle is breaking out in Gaza due to Israel’s total blockade of enclaves. “At the time the war broke out, the supply was running out; food stocks are now mostly used up,” said Olga Cherevko, aid worker at the United Nations Office of Humanitarian Affairs in Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Red Cross said Gaza’s humanitarian response was on the verge of “complete collapse.”
