Foreign Minister S Jaishankar held a telephone conversation with Afghan Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi on Thursday and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation between India and Afghanistan. Jaishankar also praised Muttaqi’s strong condemnation of the Pahalgam terrorist attack. He also welcomed the recent attempts of distrust between India and Afghanistan through false and unfounded reports by the Afghan minister. He welcomed his firm rejection of his recent false reports to build constant friendly friendships and rejected the way of mistrust between India and Afghanistan and relied on the friendships of Afghanistan.
