“To ensure flexibility, we have made extended free changes and cancelled waivers for all bookings made on or before April 22, applicable to travel on April 30. In view of the ongoing situation in Srinagar, our situation at EasemyTrip is fully committed to supporting our customers or customers who are departing from Srinagar.
He added: “In addition, we are in close coordination with airlines and local authorities and will share regular updates. Your safety and convenience remain our top priority.”
Earlier, in response to the increased demand for air tickets in Srinagar, DGCA asked airlines to increase the number of flights to and from cities. “The airlines are also asked to consider abandoning cancellations and rescheduling fees and provide all the necessary assistance to visitors facing unexpected situations and challenges during this difficult time,” the consultant said.
Indigo announced Wednesday that it has extended the rescheduling and cancellation of flights until April 30, which still applies to bookings made on or before April 22. The airline also announced two special flights today.
Indigo posted on X, adding: “In view of the current situation in Srinagar, we have extended the rescheduled/cancelled waiver. We also operated two special flights on April 23, adding: “We have extended the rescheduled or canceled waiver. Delhi and Mumbai. ”
Meanwhile, following the terrorist attack, security forces launched a search operation to track responsible terrorists. Security has been strengthened since the attack, and the visuals of the area show the streets that are usually deserted in bustling tourist areas.
