Centre releases Rs 97,52 crore for Suryalanka Beach Development

Vijayawada: Associated Press Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh announced that the centre had issued Rs 97,52 crore to develop Suryalanka Beach in the Bapatra region. He said the funds were approved under the Swadesh Darshan Program 2.0, which was initiated by the central government. Durgesh promises that the beach will soon develop to international standards.

In a recent visit to Delhi, Durgesh met with the union’s Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat and asked for funding for the development of the beach. He expressed his gratitude to Shekhawat for fulfilling his commitment and the amount of sanctions. Durgesh also thanked Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan for their support in promoting the state’s tourism industry.
