Chennai: Officials said the law enforcement agency conducted a new search in Tamil Nadu on Friday, which is linked to the money laundering case linked to Tasma links.
They said that under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), there are about 10 locations related to TASMAC officials and agents.
Tasmac is a state government agency that has a monopoly on the state’s alcohol trade.
In this case, the federal investigative agency carried out the first set of raids in March.
It then said allegedly suspected violations in the operation of TASMAC, including “manipulation” during the tender process and conducted a “undivided” cash transaction of Rs 1,000 crore through the brewing company through the brewery’s company.
