Eknath Shinde reacts to Kunal Kamra’s “Gaddar” Jibe

Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde commented on Tuesday that there is an ongoing controversy over the remarks about comedian Kunal Kamra’s “Gaddar”, saying there is freedom of speech, but it should be within its limits.

“Free speech is there; we understand irony, but there should be a limit,” the comedian Kunal Kamra said in a speech.

The standing comedian Kunal Kamra broke the silence in his statements about Maharashtra deputy CM EKNATH SHINDE. Kamra posted a statement on his official social media handle and said he would not “apologize” for his actions.
Kunal Kamra responded to Eknath Shinde’s comments in the latest YouTube video, saying that entertainment venues are just a platform and are not “responsible” for his comedy.

Shiv Sena’s workers destroyed the habitat center in Mumbai after Kamra’s comments on Eknath Shinde on Sunday.

“An entertainment vendor is merely a platform. A space for all sorts of shows. Habitat (or any other vendor) is not responsible for my comedy, nor does it have any power or control over what I say or do. Neither does any political party. Attacking a vendor for a comedian’s words is as senseless as overturning a lorry carrying tomatoes, because you didn’t like the butter chicken you were served”, Kunal Kamra’s statement read.
