On day 3 of Waves Summit in 2025, producer Ekta Kapoor introduced the remodeled Madhya Pradesh 2.0 film policy, strengthening the state's obligation to become India's preferred shooting destination.

Kapoor spoke at the summit, praising Madhya Pradesh's film potential and asserted, “From our perspective, Madhya Pradesh is definitely a visual effect, legacy, legacy – classification.” Ekta sought financial convenience to attract large productions and said, “They just put in place a great policy. What they need now is some kind of economic convenience for manufacturers so that they can support large-scale productions, which will not only promote the state's economy, but will also make it easier for filmmakers to shoot.”

Dirty picture producers with the international shooting hub agree to the dominance of Spain, which is due to attractive kickbacks and easy-to-work dominance. “Spain has taken over most of the shootings – due to the ease of work and discounts of work. So, it will be two things: one-stop policy and of course financial help in the form of return,” she said.

IAS Sheo Shekhar Shukla, Chief Secretary for Tourism Bureau of Madhya Pradesh Government, revealed that their goal is to provide Mumbai with a campaign country to make money by promoting film production. Sanjay Dubey, other chief secretary of the IT department of Madhya Pradesh government, said the new AVGC policy will support pre- and post-production and promote relevant departments such as animation, gaming and VFX. He highlighted the government's proactive and risky approach in supporting filmmakers.
