Elon Musk, China: Who is he? He is known as China Elon Musk

His hill may not be a familiar face in the West, but in the automotive world in China and around the globe, he is inspiring a lot of time. He informally called “China Elon Musk”, he carefully developed one of the world’s highest-tech electric car manufacturers – Xpeng Motors.

He is one of the reasons why China currently beat the United States and Europe by electric vehicles in Fortune.

Both numbers say it all

According to the report, the development speed of China’s electric vehicle market has evolved. According to Fortune, new energy vehicles (NEVs) account for 50% of China’s overall market share. Although even though the percentage of NEVs sold last year was 55.7%, it was equipped with a “let go” self-driving assistance system similar to Tesla’s full self-driving or Ford’s blues, Fortune reported. According to the report, just in 2014, those figures were below 1%.
“People can say that China has seen a huge improvement in development over the past decade,” he said in an interview.

Meanwhile, according to the report, the total sales of electric and plug-in hybrids in the U.S. account for only 11% of its light vehicle market, while Europe is slightly higher than 23%.

Tamipen has a familiar origin story

In the electric car world, he is also as good as Tesla CEO Elon Musk. According to Fortune, he sold his mobile browser company UCWEB to Alibaba, where he built electric cars with revenue and established Xpeng Motors in 2014.

Like Musk, he also developed custom silicon chips for self-driving, built a humanoid robot called “iron” and expanded to aerospace based on wealth. However, according to reports, he bets on flying cars, not rockets.

However, Xpeng is less than Tesla’s size and market value because it enjoys nearly monopoly for many years in the West, and Xpeng has to fight the crowded Chinese market led by Byd and other rivals.

Still, he is optimistic about the company’s future and said: “Over the next decade, we aim to be more than half of our sales from overseas and strive to be China’s leading high-end high-end export brand.”
