Washington: Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said on Saturday he was looking forward to visiting India later this year.
The tech billionaire spoke on the second day after he spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed the huge potential of technology and innovation collaboration.
“It’s an honor to talk to PM Modi. I look forward to visiting India later this year!” Musk said in an article on X.
Musk is considered one of the most influential people in the Donald Trump administration and has spearheaded the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to reduce government spending and reduce federal labor.
After Friday’s talk, Modi came on X and said: “I spoke to @Elonmusk and talked about various issues, including topics that we covered at our meeting in Washington, D.C. earlier this year. We discussed the great potential for collaboration in the areas of technology and innovation.”
“India remains committed to establishing partnerships with the United States in these areas,” he added.
