The protest is part of the ongoing campaign “Tesla Defeat” urging individuals to boycott Tesla and its CEO. CNN reported that there were estimated 80 protests that Saturday. The protest website requires individuals to sell Tesla, no longer invest in companies, and hold positions on pickets. The protesters’ message read: “Sell your Tesla, abandon your stock and join the pickets. Hurt Tesla is stopping musk.”
It added: “Stop Musk will help save lives and our democracy. The stakes will not be higher. No one is coming to save American politicians, not the media.”
