Elon Musk’s Pentagon Chinese War: “Malicious Disinformation”: Elon Musk threatens Pentagon leakers’ ‘top secret plan’ for China’s war story

“China will not even be mentioned or discussed,” Trump said in a Pentagon meeting on Thursday.
Musk hit NYT
Musk intimidated Pentagon staff who leaked what he called “false information” in the report. Musk posted on his X platform early Friday morning: “The New York Times is pure publicity.” “In addition, I look forward to the prosecution of people who leaked false information to the New York Times. They will be found.”

Musk is a close political ally of Trump and pioneered the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), where he gains and powers in various federal departments face multiple legal challenges in court. The billionaire CEOs of electric car maker Tesla and space technology maker SpaceX also have business interests in China.
Trump also denied the New York Times report, which cited anonymous officials, reportedly a briefing scheduled for Friday. Trump wrote on his truth social platform: “Fake news is coming again, this time it’s The New York Times. How ridiculous?” China will not even be mentioned or discussed. “How shameful it is to be smeared media to make up for such lies. In any case, this story is completely untrue!!”
The U.S. military has long planned a potential war with China. The biggest flash point is Taiwan, and there are tensions in the territorial disputes in the South China Sea, with most of Beijing claiming to be their own.

What did the NYT report say?
According to the New York Times report, the briefing will include 20 to 30 slides that illustrate how the United States fights in the conflict with China. The newspaper quoted two unidentified U.S. officials.
If true, then getting a rigorous military plan would mark a sharp expansion of Musk’s role as Trump’s adviser, who pioneered the efforts to reduce U.S. government spending. This will also raise questions about Musk’s conflict of interest, who has commercial interests in China and the Pentagon as head of Tesla and the Astronauts.
Washington and Beijing have been strained in differences, from access to technology, trade tariffs and cybersecurity to Tiktok, Taiwan, Hong Kong, human rights, human rights and the origins of Covid-19-19-19.

Musk goes to the Pentagon
Elon Musk will visit the Pentagon on Friday, the Defense Department said late Thursday evening. Hegseth said in an article on X that the conference will be “about innovation, efficiency and smarter production.”
“The Department of Defense is pleased to welcome Elon Musk to the Pentagon on Friday,” Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said in a statement to CNN.

The visit comes from the Pentagon encouraged by Musk’s efficiency department, who sees major cuts as the highest point for the military in an effort to embrace the Trump administration’s efforts to narrow the federal government. Hegseth said last month that the Department of Defense would lean towards Doge to help the department “find fraud, waste and abuse in the federal government’s largest discretionary budget.”
