Dhaka conducted a massive protest on Saturday against Israel’s military operations in Gaza and was involved in the entire Islamist community. The protest march also included student leaders who lowered the former regime of Sheikh Hasina.
Protesters target U.S. President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Indian leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Few protesters waving their weapons on the streets of Dhaka.
Earlier this week, protesters believed international brands that had ties to Israel, such as Bata, KFC, Pizza Hut and Puma. The incident occurred in the streets of Sylhet, Chattogram, Khulna, Barisal, Comilla and Dhaka, which are united with the Palestinians.
Islamists led by Jamaat-e-Islami (JEI) played an important role in leading the protests. Since then, JEI has played an important role in the decision-making process of interim regimes.
Jei, who worked as a collaborator in the 1971 genocide in Bangladesh, received support from the teams of Hefazat Islam, Hizb-ut Tahrir and Ansurallah Bangla (both banned in the past) to change the secular role of Bangladesh, was suspected of Manchester United audiences since last August.
