England County Cricket digs in retirement speech

The England County Cricket Handle on X performed a cheeky dig in Indian team Talisman batsman Virat Kohli, claiming he intends to retire from Test cricket.
The report said that before India’s tour to England next month, Kohli communicated his intentions to the BCCI (BCCI) that he intends to withdraw from the traditional format. Interestingly, his decision came just a few days after Rohit Sharma’s sudden test exit was announced.
The official handle of England’s premier domestic first class competition released a video of a British bowler removing a stump during Kohli’s cheeky excavation, and put forward the title: “We don’t blame you Virat.”
The modern great team has no good record on British soil, scoring 17 games (33 innings), with an average of only 33.21, only 200 and 5 and a half centuries.
But Kohli has not announced anything yet, and BCCI officials are trying to convince the 36-year-old to withdraw his decision.
