“Ennum Ezhuthum helps Level 3, 5 students make up for their learning losses”

According to the State Achievement Survey (SLA), students at Level 3 and 5 had an average of 67% and 76% of their study outcomes at Tamil University, respectively.

In the state’s first country, the survey was conducted by Samagra Shiksha of the State Education Research and Training Commission, the Bureau of School Education and Basic Education, and was supervised by the State Planning Commission to assess learning outcomes for grades 3, 5 and 8 in government and government-assisted schools.

A total of 9,80,341 students from 45,924 schools participated in the survey. They obtained a questionnaire with 35-50 questions, and they had to answer within 90 minutes. The final students from the School of Arts and Engineering serve as on-site guardians.

Grade 3 students scored 67% in Tamil, 54% in Mathematics and 76% in Environmental Science. According to the 2021 National Achievement Survey, Tamil, English and Environmental Science scored higher than the national average. The trend is similar to Level 5, with Level 5 recordings in Tamil, 51% in English, 57% in Environmental Science, and 57% in Mathematics.
