The Erode region’s overall pass percentage in the Level 12 public exams ensures second place in the state. Compared with 2024-25, the results were improved by 0.56 percentage points.
Of the 22279 students who took the exam in March 2025, 21,829 passed. When the boy recorded a pass percentage of 97.21, the girl scored 98.65. A total of 107 schools produced CENTUM results, including 37 public schools in the area. Among the state’s official schools, Erode ranks second with a total pass percentage of 96.88.
An official from the school education department said that special attention was being paid to lower-achieving schools last year, which helped improve performance this year. “Three such schools have produced Centum results, and the rate through 13 schools has increased,” the official said. The official added that 1,223 students received the full number in various subjects.
