Meet India’s first child superstar, a musical genius who was murdered at the age of 14

His final performance on stage was Kolkata, 14.

Master Madan was a talented Ghazal and Geet singer from India in pre-independence. He became India’s first child superstar at the age of 3.5. Madan was blessed with only 14 years of life. He was poisoned to death at the age of 14 due to Master Madan’s singing and insecurity voices about his growing career. But even after 90 years, the sweetness of his singing still resonates in people’s minds.

Master Madan was born in December 1927, Khana, a village in Jalandhar (now Nawanshahar). His father, Amar Singh Ghulam, worked in the British Empire. They will be based on Shimla in the summer. Madan began to grow up with his family in the Buttail building in Shimla. When Madan was 3 years old, his music training began. His father loved music very much, and his sister Shanti Devi also learned music, so Madan also started to learn with her.

In just 6 months, Madan has achieved such proficiency in music that at the age of 3.5, he began to attract people with his voice. As Madan grew up, his music talent began to spread widely. Every day, a party is held in Shimla, and a child will steal his heart with his voice. Madan’s voice received the title of Madan Master. Madan began studying at the Sanatan Dharma school in Shimla. After that, when Madan grew up, his family came to Delhi.

In Delhi, Madan completed his studies at Ramjas School. From 1931 to 1942, Master Madan continued to sing on all-India radio stations. During this period, veteran singers like Ghulam Ali Khan, Mubarak Ali, Fateh Ali Dilip Chandervedi and Dina Qawwal were also used to sing for all-India radio. When Madan only became the 14-year-old singing king when he was sculpting hundreds of songs with his voice, the big singer began to envy him. Many veteran singers are beginning to witness their careers at risk. It is said that his master, Kaleraanvaale, predicted his inappropriate destruction.
