All land issues will be resolved by June 2: Ponguleti

Hyderabad: Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy announced that from the Dharani Portal period, all land-related issues were in Mandals, who launched the Bhu Bharati pilot program on Thursday, which will be resolved before the formation day of Telangana on June 2.
The minister formally launched two ruling pilot projects – in Maddur and Parigi in Vikalabad district of Narayan Special District – participated in a revenue from Kajipur of Maddur Mandal Sadassu, who received petitions from local residents to fight land disputes, many of whom were in the former Dhharani portal consecriph consecriph the dhharani portal condecriph condecriph condecriph condecriph condecoration consection consection.
He described the Bhu Bharati initiative as first, a cost-free and transparent system that will bring lasting changes to the state’s land management.
Srinivas Reddy announced an ongoing remedial process in which income officials will visit citizens directly to accept applications and resolve complaints without charging a single rupees. “Under Dharani, people had to spend more than 1,000 applications to pass the MEE SEVA Centre, requiring solutions for each complaint and visiting the CCLA in Hyderabad or the District Collector’s Office for help, incurring unnecessary expenses in the process. BhuBharati eliminates all of this.”
Srinivas Reddy, who claimed that the former BRS government had occupied land belonging to the poor, said audits would be conducted and the land parcels would be taken back. He said BRS abused the Dharani system and illegally occupied hundreds of thousands of acres of land, and the BRS leaders themselves privately acknowledged the flaws on the portal.
He said the occupied land would be taken back through the Bhu Bharati portal and redistributed to qualified poor people.
Srinivas Reddy said the Bhu Bharati Act is expected to be a role model for the country. He said village administrators will be appointed in each tax village to enhance local accountability. He added: “During the BRS regime, both the government and farmers using the Dharani portal, illegally occupied land will be taken back through Bhu Bharati as long as they are not kidnapped in court cases.”
To increase transparency during land registration, the government introduced a property map with detailed descriptions during the registration process, a step towards the upcoming appointment of 6,000 licensed surveyors. Currently, property maps are only used for non-gragri registrations such as houses, apartments, etc., he said. This will ensure clarity, especially in rural areas where boundaries and ownership often become sources of conflict.
The minister shared that from May 1, another 28 ruled, and one in each of the remaining 28 regions will implement the bhu bharati Act on a pilot basis. “All disputes in pilot rule will be completely settled by June 2, and we will gradually roll out the entire state system,” he said.
Srinivas Reddy, highlighting the commitment of the Indiramma government led by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, said Bhu Bharati was invested by experts and possessed public welfare. “It’s not only an act, but a generational reform. Farmers will now be fully protected for future land disputes,” he said.
Srinivas Reddy also announced that the tax office will be held in all departments to better understand and address farmers’ concerns.
