Bangladesh: Pakistan behind Yunus regime – Jamaat-e-Islami decides to appeal Chinmoy Das Bail

Bangladesh’s interim regime ostensibly appealed to the indoor judge of the Supreme Court under pressure from Pakistan and radical Jamat-Islam to continue bail orders by Hindu spiritual leader Chinmoy Krishna Das. The Bangladesh High Court released bail to DAS in an incitement case on Wednesday. The state immediately filed an application to the Room Court for holding the order.
Instead of holding a High Court order, the court sets a hearing date. The bail approval for DAS is challenged under pressure from radical Jamaat-e-Islami and Pakistan.
In February, the Bangladesh High Court asked the Bangladesh government to explain why the DA should not be released, as its lawyers confirmed.

A spokesman for Bangladesh's Sanatani Jagran Jote, former ISKCON leader Das has been accused of insulting the Bangladesh flag and faces incitement lawsuits.

The complaint against DAS was filed by Hefazat-e-Islam Bangladesh member Enamul Haque. It is worth noting that Hefazat-e-Islalm is a fundamentalist group founded in 2010, which violates the progressive laws and bats of Islamic laws in Bangladesh. His complaint was filed in the Chittagong Metropolitan Court Court, where Md Abu Bakar Siddique.Das was arrested in the Hazrat Shahrat International Airport area in Dhaka, in connection with an incitement case filed in the New York City marriage case on November 25. Since the fall of Sheikh Hasina's Awami League government on August 5.

DAS earlier asked Bangladesh’s interim government to take strong action against fundamentalists who incite the country’s troubles and arrest them to build confidence among ethnic minorities.
