Patancheru police in Sangareddy said a woman from Ameenpur Mandal killed her three children because they were a barrier to her love life.
Sangareddy District sp Paritosh Pankaj said the defendants Avuri Chintala Rajitha, 30, and his lover Shiva Kumar, 30, have been detained in police custody.
“Rajitha, a former private school teacher, married Avurichintala Chennaiah in 2013 when she was in the middle class. Her husband, a tank driver, was 20 years older than her. The couple has three children,” SP said.
The official added that six months ago, Rajitha rekindled her acquaintance with former classmate Shiva through school gathering discussions. The official added: “Their frequent conversations led to something that Rajita quickly expressed his willingness to marry him. However, Shiva insisted that he would marry her if she had no husband or children.”
Rajitha decides to be with Shiva and decides to kill her child.
According to her plan, at around 6 p.m. on March 27, she told Shiva about her plan and he urged her to act quickly. That night, after her husband left for work at 10 pm, she suffocated the child with a towel. She first killed her eldest son, followed by her daughter and finally her younger son.”
Sangareddy police confirmed Shiva’s involvement in encouraging Rajitha to carry out the bill after investigating the crime. Both defendants were arrested and remanded for further legal action.
