chhattisgarh cm vishnu deo sai render PM Modi roadmap for Bastar Development

Reibull: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday proposed a roadmap for the state’s left-wing extremist beating Bastall.
A spokesman for the Chhattisgarh government told the newspaper that Mr Sai, who had been visiting Delhi for two days since March 17, introduced Mr Modi to the state of rebellion in Bastall and asserted that “Namasism is on the brink of elimination”.
Mr Sai said: “Nassalism in Chhattisgarh is on the verge of phase-out.
Given the “rapid changing situation” in Bastall, the Chhattisgarh government has prepared for the development of tribal areas.
The spokesman said he introduced the BASTAR development master plan, outlining the transformation of the Naxar-affected region into a hub for infrastructure, industry and tourism.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi responded positively and guaranteed the full support of the central government,” a press release issued by the Chhattisgarh government said.
Mr Sai highlighted how police and central forces successfully extended development to the former Naxal Fortress, thus increasing public trust in government initiatives.
Mr Sai said the state’s main focus is to develop Bastar into a new industrial and economic hub, creating jobs for youth and improving the living standards of tribal communities.
During the meeting, Mr Sai also elaborated on the new industrial policies in Chhattisgarh and the growing interests of investors.
He told the Prime Minister that the ongoing initiatives enable rural women to be self-reliant.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister shared the framework of Modi’s upcoming visit to Chhattisgarh on March 30 to uncover various development projects.
Later on Monday, Mr Sai met with the union’s interior minister Amit Shah and discussed with him about the current situation in Bastall.
“The focus of this meeting is to completely eliminate Namasism, accelerate the development of Bastall and promote tourism and economic activities in the region,” an official spokesperson said.
Mr Say asserted during the meeting: “Nassalism in Bastall has reached its final stage, with the strict government’s policies and effective strategies of security forces bringing peace to the affected areas.”
He informed the union minister of the new surrender and rehabilitation policy in 2025, saying it had begun to produce positive results.
He said that 19 naxals have recently surrendered in the Bijapur region of South Bastall, including nine bounties, chose to return to the mainstream.
