Nitish Change Party for CM Chairs only

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge held a huge “Jai Bapu, Jai Bhim, Jai Samvidhan” rally at the Dalsagar Stadium in Buxar on Sunday, thus launching his party’s push to regain the ground in next year’s state parliamentary elections. Kharge has launched a stimulating criticism of the ruling NDA, accusing Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar of “changing political parties for only ‘kursi’” and branding Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose 2015 promised to provide Bihar with a special packaging of Rs 12.5 lakh. “Modi Ji runs a lie,” he declared cheering from the crowd.
In the National Pioneer case, the help was turned to the law enforcement agency’s recent charge sheet against Sonia and Rahul Gandhi, denounced it as a “political-motivated move” aimed at intimidating the opposition. He asserted: “The BJP wants to scare us, but we will not surrender.”
Kharge cited the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi and BR Ambedkar, reaffirmed Congress’ commitment to social justice and constitutional values and urged voters to support Congress, RJD and the left-wing Mahagathbandhan coalition. Bihar Congress director Akhilesh Prasad Singh and other local leaders responded to his call, highlighting unemployment, inflation and caste discrimination as key campaign issues. Congressional high-level figures will tour Bihar in the coming days to strengthen the drive.
