RR CAMP crack? Sanju Samson ignores Rahul Dravid, team meeting in Dugout; video spreads

The video shows Rajasthan Royals head coach Rahul Dravid speaking to the team before the super ends. When teammates were urged to join, there was obviously no discussion of Sanju Samson.
Rajasthan Royals captain Sanju Samson made headlines. The talented ticket inspector batsman had to retire after hitting 19 goals in his IPL 2025 match against Delhi Capital on Wednesday. The match ended with a stinging super, with the Delhi Capitals winning after the two teams tied in 188 matches with a regular 20-point game. In the super match, the royals chose to abandon the 28-ball molding Nitish Rana and instead sent Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag.
Now, a round of videos on social media shows senior executives of the RR team, including head coaches Rahul Dravid and Sairaj Bahutule, gathered in a clumsy place before the super ended. In the video, you can find Samson, but he seems to have lost himself in his mind and will not interact with anyone. While this may just be a sign of his stress, many social media users speculate on possible rifts within the team. In huddle, a player seems to say something to Samson, but he just walked away.
I know there must be cracks in the settings when there is absolutely no discussion or chat before the super ends. Everyone stood in Sanju’s hand signal in the first video, everyone stood in the first video, he deliberately ignored everyone. https://t.co/dfxmlwggbg pic.twitter.com/688ji3mxrs

Nitish Rana is expected to be one of the batting options for Rajasthan Royals in its first super match against the Delhi Capitals in IPL 2025 at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Wednesday night. However, it was surprising that despite scoring 51 points from 28 balls, RR was not sent. The decision didn’t pay off, as RR managed to score 11 goals and the last two ran.
After the dramatic game, Rana mentioned that all live decision calls were made by team management. “It’s by no means a single person’s decision. The decisions to discuss and make these issues are always managers and supporters. I believe that if the results are in our favor, the issues will be different. Cricket is a result-oriented game.”
“Management is a decision guy. There are two senior players and the captain. I think that decision is right. If Hetmyer hits two sixes, you wouldn’t ask the same question.
“Hetmyer is our terminator. Everyone knows this, he has delivered in the past. We can squeeze out a lot more, it’s a bundle game in the game, but it shouldn’t happen. But it’s the result,” Rana said in a post-match press conference.
