A case was filed in the 299th Mile (BNS) of Sadar Police Station in Jalandhar against Bollywood actors Sunny Deol and Randeep Hooda, as well as director Gopichand Malineni and producer Naveen Yerneni, allegedly suffered allegations of undermining religious sentiment. The complaint was filed by a local resident who claimed that a scene in the recently released film Jaat depicts images similar to the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, who was offended by the Christian community.
The complainant urged authorities to take appropriate action against the filmmakers to resolve the controversial scenes, which he believes is disrespectful of religious beliefs and may drive tensions to the community. An investigation into the matter is underway.

Although JAAT 2’s cast match has not been fully disclosed, Sunny Deol has been confirmed to have re-played. Fans eagerly await further updates from the film ensemble cast.
Meanwhile, the original JAAT film released earlier this month performed well at the box office, earning more than Rs 950 crore in India on opening day. The film, produced by Mythri filmmaker and People Media Factory, has played a major role, including Randeep Hooda, Viineet Kumar Singh, Ramya Krishnan and Jagapathi Babu.
