Web Portal, an application launched for Saraswati Pushkaralu Fest

Warangal: IT Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu said on Tuesday that the Congressional government, which had previously conducted Saraswati Pushkaralu, had a chance to serve the devotees again.
As part of the preparations for the upcoming Saraswati Pushkaralu Festival, it will be held in Kaleshwaram in the Jayashankar Bhupalpally district from May 15 to 26, Ministers Konda Surekha and D. Sridhar Babu launched a website and a mobile app at the secretariat on Tuesday.
The digital platform is designed to provide comprehensive information to devotees and pilgrims who will participate in sacred events.
Donation Minister Konda Surekha said that unlike previous regimes, the current government is actively involved in temple administration, which ignores religious affairs.
She said that since serving as donation minister, the department has conducted several temple activities such as Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, Komuravelli Kalyanam and Bhadrachalam Kalyanam. She also mentioned the adoption of a legislative amendment for the formation of the governing bodies of the Yadadri Temple.
Regarding Saraswati Pushkaralu, officials estimate that the pace is 50,000 to 100,000 per day. A 17-foot stone idol Saraswati was installed on site, as well as permanent sanitation, a shaded seating area and an expansion of bathing ghats.
Surekha also stressed that the free bus travel plan for women proposed by the Congress government has greatly increased women’s temple visits.
She directed officials to establish a dedicated free-to-call hotline index during Pushkaralu to assist the pilgrims. She added that through Web Portal and mobile apps, devotees have access to all the information related to the event.
