Barrily:On Tuesday, heavy rains accompanied by lightning and lightning slammed the area, with five people killed in their respective lightning strikes across northern Karnataka. In the Tangadagi village of Muddebihal Taluk in Vijayapura district, Mallappa Gurushantappa Talikoti, 47, was struck by lightning, hiding the shelter under a tree while grazing cattle.
