Five students were injured, two of them were injured, allegedly controversial about cricket matches after two groups clashed at a private coaching centre in the Krishna area.
A few days ago, a quarrel broke out between the two groups because the boundaries of a junior high school student were determined during the game. Sources said seniors and junior high school students attacked each other in the hotel with sticks and metal tubes in the early hours of Sunday.
Junior high school students remind their parents to take them home immediately. Institute management is not available for comment.
Penamaluru Circle inspector JV Ramana said no complaints were filed for the incident.
“I brought my son to the coaching center for Rs 2.5 lakh per year. However, there is no guarantee. My son suffered a significant injury in the attack,” the father of a boy said on anonymity from Rayachoti in Annamayya district.
Junior high school students said seniors beat about 15 students after closing the lights in their dormitory, and the guards failed to stop the attack.
