New flights from Hinton to 3 cities starting May 1
Starting from May 1, new flight services will begin from Hindon Airport in Ghaziabad to Varanasi, Jaipur and Patna. Air India has obtained permission to operate flights on these routes and has started booking tickets. The move is expected to make travel more convenient for people in the NCR and nearby areas of Delhi.
There are more cities connected to Hinton Airport
Until February, domestic flights from Hinton Airport operated to five cities. In March, Air India Express began serving seven new cities after lifting commercial flight restrictions. With the increase in Varanasi, Jaipur and Patna, the number of cities associated with Hinton Airport will increase to 15.
This will also make Varanasi the first city in Uttar Pradesh to directly contact Hinden Airport via flight. According to MP Atul Garg, work is still underway to connect Lucknow in the near future.
