For some, religious identity is a staple for retweeting hate politics: former CEC slams Nishikant Dubey

Quraishi told PTI: “I did it in my own capacity in the constitutional position of the Election Commissioner and had a long and fulfilling career in the IAS. I believe in the idea of India, in which a person’s talents and contributions are defined by their religious identity.”
“But I think for some people, religious identity is a staple for retweeting their hatred politics. India has and will always stand up to fight for its constitutional institutions and principles,” he said.
Meanwhile, IAS K Mahesh, honorary chairman of the Delhi Government Officials Academic Forum, supported Goulasi and said he was the phenomenon of election commissioner and chief election commissioner.
Mahesh said: “He has introduced a series of reforms to last and outstanding work and greatly enriched the Election Commission’s system.
He said Quraishi had held other tasks as a member of the Haryana cadre and was a great advantage as a Haryana cadre and India was proud to have an IAS official like him. “This is recognized by Dr. Gopalkrishna Gandhi, who has the best lineage in India, is the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and C Rajagopalacari (the first Indian governor), who are around his father and mother respectively.” Mahesh recalls that Gopalkrishna Gandhi said of Dr. Gopalkrishna Gandhi said he was “one of the most outstanding CECs we have ever or may have.”
After the riots caused by the comments against India’s chief justice, BJP MP Dolby opened a Salvo to Quraishi on Sunday, saying he was not an election commissioner, but a “Muslim commissioner”, who criticized the WAQF (Amendment) as a “sincere and evil government plan to seize Muslim land”.
Quraishi was the chief election commissioner of India from July 2010 to June 2012.
Dubey’s religious beliefs are former CEC, who has aggression against the Supreme Court and India’s chief justice Sanjiv Khanna blamed him for forcing the BJP to reject his criticism and stay away from the controversial remarks.
Quraishi said on X on April 17: “The WAKF Act is undoubtedly a blatant sinister evil plan for the government to seize Muslim land. I’m sure the SC will be called out. The misinformation of the naughty propaganda machine is done well.”
Duby responded to this, “You are not an election commissioner, you are a Muslim commissioner. During your tenure, the largest number of Bangladesh infiltrations were voters in Santhal Pargana, Jharkhand.”
He said: “The Islam of the Prophet Muhammad came to India in 712. This land (WAQF) belongs to Hindus or tribes associated with the faith, Jana or Buddhists.”
Dolby said his village Vikramshila was burned down by Bakhtiyar khilji in 1189 and Vikramshila University gave the world “first vice president” in Atish Dipankar.
He added: “Unity this country and read history. Pakistan was created by segmenting it. There will be no partition now.”
Dubey is the fourth Lok Sabha MP of Godda in Jharkhand.
