A female passenger was stopped at Kochi Airport with foreign currency worth Rs 44.4 million.
Customs officials intercepted the Muvattupuzha native, who was on the 200,000 Saudi Riyal flight to Dubai according to the prompts. During the security check, 400 Saudi Rialpai notes were found in her luggage.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway to track the source of the currency. Later, the woman was released on bail.
