Prior to her role as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive Officer, she continued to serve as the company’s operations manager and director of operations.
For three decades, Ms. Heyman has been attacked to lead the brand’s Australian and New Zealand operations.
Her appointment allowed Mr Meij, who became CEO of Pizza Enterprises in Domino, focusing on the international foothold of the chain.
After 22 years of work, Mr. Meij resigned from his position as global CEO in 2024 only one month later.
His last two years in the chain were contaminated by shocking brand performance in the Asian and European markets.
On Monday, the company suggested it began an international recruitment process, including internal candidates, to “support a smooth transition to new leaders in the coming months.”
