Foreign Minister Vikram Misri said on Saturday (May 10, 2025) that India and Pakistan have agreed to a ceasefire.
“The Director-General of Pakistan Military Operations said the DGMO of India 1535 hours this afternoon, and with their agreement, both sides will cease all shooting and military operations in the air and in the ocean, starting from 1700 hours today.

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar also confirmed the ceasefire. He said in an article on X: “Pakistan and India have agreed to an immediate ceasefire. Pakistan has been working for peace and security in the region without damaging its sovereignty and territorial integrity!”
Meanwhile, the U.S. government is eager to announce a role in the ceasefire.
