Government terminates IMF ED KV Subramanian services

The government has terminated KV Subramanian's service as executive director of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) six months before his three-year term, the source said on Saturday. They added that the Cabinet Appointment Committee has terminated Subramanian's services from April 30, 2025. The reason for Subramanian's exit has not been officially announced.
